When a sleepover at her parents’ empty Orange County home turns deadly, eighteen-year-old Jess and her three friends (loyal Brooke, performative Rachel, and quietly guarded new girl Maya) find themselves trapped inside a house whose walls have been colonized by a massive swarm of Africanized killer bees. Maya, who has a near-fatal bee allergy and an encyclopedic knowledge of the species, is the first to recognize the threat. Derek the concerning neighbor, assigned to keep an eye on them comes to help but the swarm has already taken over and now engulfs him. Their only option is to find and destroy the queen, torching the hive, torching the house, and surviving long enough to crawl out the other side.
